About us

A community where women rebuild, together

Women of Nature CIC is a Community Interest Company dedicated to empowering women to rebuild their lives through confidence, wellbeing, education and opportunity.

We believe every woman deserves the opportunity to feel safe, valued and capable of creating a future she is proud of, regardless of her past.

Our work focuses on supporting women facing significant life challenges, including domestic abuse, bereavement, migration, long-term unemployment, addiction recovery, loneliness, financial hardship and loss of confidence.

Through practical support, wellbeing initiatives, education, employability programmes and strong community partnerships, we help women develop the confidence, resilience and practical skills needed to build independent, fulfilling and purposeful lives.

Women of Nature is more than a support organisation. It is a community where women can reconnect with themselves, rediscover their strengths and realise they never have to rebuild alone.

Vision & mission

What we are working towards

Our vision

A world where no woman has to rebuild alone.

We envision communities where every woman has access to support, opportunity and a genuine sense of belonging, enabling her to heal, grow and thrive regardless of the challenges she has faced.

Our mission

To empower women to rediscover themselves, rebuild their confidence and create peaceful, independent and fulfilling lives.

We achieve this by delivering programmes that strengthen emotional wellbeing, develop practical life skills, improve employability, promote financial independence and create supportive environments where women can flourish.

We believe every woman deserves the opportunity to rediscover hope, step confidently into her purpose and build a future filled with possibility.

Why Women of Nature exists

Life can change in an instant

We understand that rebuilding a life requires more than practical advice.

It requires compassion. It requires opportunity. It requires community.

For many women, experiences such as domestic abuse, bereavement, migration, addiction, financial hardship or social isolation can leave them feeling disconnected from themselves and uncertain about the future.

Women of Nature CIC was created from both lived experience and years of supporting vulnerable individuals across healthcare, community services and domestic abuse organisations.

Our purpose is to create safe, welcoming and empowering spaces where women feel seen, supported and inspired to move forward with confidence. Our aim is not only to provide support, but to restore hope, unlock potential and help every woman step confidently into her purpose.

We believe every woman already possesses strength. Sometimes she simply needs the right environment to rediscover it.

Our core values

What guides everything we do

Compassion

We meet every woman with empathy, understanding and kindness. There is no judgement. Only support.

Growth

Like the bonsai tree that represents our organisation, meaningful growth takes patience, care and strong foundations. Every woman has the potential to blossom.

Resilience

Life's challenges do not define us. We help women recognise their strength, rebuild their confidence and keep moving forward.

Community

No woman should have to rebuild her life alone. We create welcoming spaces where women feel seen, supported and connected.

Empowerment

We equip women with the confidence, knowledge and practical skills to build independent, fulfilling and purposeful lives. We don't create dependency. We walk alongside women as they rediscover their own strength.

Meet our founder

Born from lived experience and years of service

The founder and CEO of Women of Nature, smiling over her shoulder
Founder & CEO, Women of Nature CIC

Women of Nature was founded from a simple belief: every woman deserves access to a supportive community, meaningful opportunities and the confidence to rebuild her life, no matter where her journey begins.

The organisation was born from both lived experience and years of professional service.

Like many of the women Women of Nature supports, I have experienced significant life transitions. Rebuilding my life after domestic abuse, relocating to the United Kingdom as a single mother and navigating the loss of my father during one of the most challenging periods of my life gave me a profound understanding of resilience, grief and the importance of having people who genuinely care.

Those experiences shaped not only who I am, but also the values that underpin Women of Nature. They reinforced a lesson that continues to guide our work today: healing, growth and lasting change are far more achievable when people feel supported rather than isolated.

Alongside my personal journey, I have built a career supporting individuals and communities through some of life's most difficult circumstances. My professional experience includes working with women affected by domestic abuse, individuals recovering from addiction, people living with mental health challenges and older adults requiring compassionate support. I have also worked across healthcare, administration, community services and business operations, providing me with a broad understanding of the practical and emotional barriers people often face when rebuilding their lives.

Women of Nature brings together these personal and professional experiences to create a safe, welcoming and empowering environment where women can access support, build confidence, develop new skills and connect with a community that believes in their potential.

Our approach is centred on dignity, compassion and empowerment. We do not seek to rescue women; we seek to walk alongside them, providing encouragement, opportunities and practical support until they feel equipped to move forward with confidence and independence.

Today, my vision is for Women of Nature to become a community where every woman feels valued, heard and supported. A place where challenges do not define futures, where opportunities replace limitations and where every woman is empowered to write the next chapter of her own story.

The compassion, strength and encouragement my father gave me continue to inspire the way Women of Nature serves others. His legacy reminds me of the importance of ensuring every woman who walks through our doors feels seen, respected and believed in. That commitment remains at the heart of everything we do.
